Hull Rupture Platforms: PC, Mac, Linux, Console
Hull Rupture launches on PC, Mac, and Linux on November 4, 2026. There is no PS5, Xbox, Switch, or mobile version. Here is the full platform status.
Hull Rupture is a PC-first release. On November 4, 2026 it arrives on Windows, macOS, and Linux through Steam. There is no PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, or Android version, and no official date for any of them.
That answer is short, but the details matter if you are choosing a device, waiting for a console port, or trying to avoid a fake download. This page covers the confirmed platforms, the unconfirmed ones, and the storefront situation.

For the hardware baseline, see system requirements; for a free test, use the demo.
There is no Verified or Playable badge on the store page. The game runs on Linux, but that is not the same as a Valve-tested Deck build.
PC: the main platform
Steam is the only official storefront linked from Konfa Games' website. The store page lists Windows, macOS, and Linux, along with Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. There is no Epic Games Store page, no GOG page, and no Microsoft Store listing at the time of writing.
If you want the game on release day, Steam is the safe choice. A Steam key from a third-party reseller may work, but pre-release listings from unauthorized key sites are a common source of revoked keys and region locks. There is no reason to risk it when the official store is one click away.
The PC version supports single-player only. There is no co-op, no online versus, and no dedicated server. Steam Cloud handles saves, so moving between a desktop and a laptop should work if both are signed into the same account.
Mac: native, not a wrapper
The Mac version is listed as a native build for macOS Big Sur 11 or newer. That is good news for Apple Silicon owners: the game is not relying on Rosetta or a remote streaming service.
The risk group is older Intel Macs, especially 13-inch laptops with integrated graphics. The Windows minimum asks for a dedicated GPU from the GTX 670 era; integrated Intel graphics are below that line. The demo is the right test.
If you have an M1 or newer chip, the game should run comfortably. The pixel art is not a rendering challenge, and the simulation is the kind of workload Apple Silicon handles well.
Linux and Steam Deck
Linux is a first-class platform on the store page, not a Proton-only afterthought. That makes Hull Rupture a good candidate for the Steam Deck, even though Valve has not issued a compatibility rating.
Two caveats:
- Text size. The ship UI is dense. A 7-inch screen at 1280x800 may make module tooltips hard to read.
- Late-game CPU load. The Deck's APU is capable, but a 20-wave ship with dozens of rooms is exactly the scenario that separates "playable" from "smooth."
Install the demo on Deck before buying. If the UI is readable and wave 10 holds 40 fps, the full game is likely fine.
Consoles: no announcement
There is no PS5, Xbox, or Switch version. Konfa and tinyBuild have not said that a port is planned, and there is no ratings-board listing to point to.
tinyBuild has published console versions of other games, so a later port is not impossible. But "possible" is not a release plan. If you only own a console, do not buy a PC to play this one game unless the demo convinces you it is worth it.
The same applies to a Switch 2 version. Nintendo's new hardware is a natural fit for a pixel-art strategy game, but there is no official mention of it.
Mobile: no official version
Hull Rupture is not on iOS or Android. Search suggestions for "hull rupture apk" and "hull rupture android" are people looking for something that does not exist.
Do not download an APK from a site claiming to offer the game. At best it is an unrelated app; at worst it is malware. The only official download is the Steam demo, and the only official purchase is the Steam store page.
A mobile port would require a complete UI redesign. The game's information density is the point, and a phone screen cannot show a full ship layout and a wave timer at the same time without heavy abstraction. Konfa has not hinted at one.

Cross-progression and cloud saves
Steam Cloud is listed for the full game, which means saves can sync between computers signed into the same Steam account. That covers Windows, Mac, and Linux if the save format is shared.
Cross-progression between Steam and a console does not exist, because there is no console version. If a port arrives later, cross-save would be a separate announcement.
Family Sharing is also listed. That lets another account in your Steam Family play the game when you are not using it, subject to Steam's current family rules. It is not a substitute for a second copy if you want to play simultaneously.
Which version should you buy?
There is only one version: the standard Steam release. No deluxe edition, no season pass, and no pre-order bonus have been announced.
If you are deciding between platforms:
- Windows desktop: the default choice, best performance per dollar.
- Mac laptop: fine on Apple Silicon; test on Intel.
- Linux desktop: native build, good fit for Proton-heavy setups.
- Steam Deck: works in principle; demo first.
- Console: wait for an announcement that does not exist yet.
The demo is available on all three PC platforms. Use it to confirm that the game runs and that the UI is readable on your screen.
